Project SOS: Send One to SENDAS

Project SOS links deserving students, called to serve in ministry, with those who have a heart for God's work in Latin America. SOS photo

SENDAS stands for Seminario Nazareno de las Americas, which in English is the Nazarene Seminary of the Americas. The word 'sendas' also means a path or a way to get there, very appropriate for a Seminary preparing the leaders of today's church.

The students at SENDAS come from various backgrounds. Some of them are the pastors and leaders of the future, while others are already serving in full time ministry due to the explosive growth of the Church of the Nazarene in Latin America. While some students study in the Residence program at SENDAS, a large group of our student body is educated close to their home, through SENDAS’ Extension Studies Program.

Whatever the situation, wherever their home country, SENDAS students have one thing in common: a strong desire to serve and follow God.  Project SOS gives you the opportunity to partner with a SENDAS student, supporting them in prayer and finances throughout their education, enabling them to reach the lost for Christ in their everyday setting.

As a Project SOS participant, you will be linked with a SENDAS student who will share with you by letter their testimony, call and future plans.
