Diploma in Christian Ministry
Decentralized Theological Education
ETED: Is the program of the Church of the Nazarene that provides basic training for ministry and at the same time gives the student the time to exercise his or her pastoral or Christian education ministry. Besides training for ministry, this program was designed to help the student comply with the educational requirements in the Ministerial Development Guide for ordination in the Church of the Nazarene. SENDAS offers the ETED program in strategic centers in the countries of Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama.
PURPOSE: To provide theological education and pastoral training to believers who testify that God has called them to ministry. In a broader sense the purpose is to help the Church in the fulfillment of its mission.
WHO CAN ENROLL IN THIS PROGRAM?
Decentralized ministerial theological education seeks primarily to serve all Nazarene pastors who need to prepare themselves for service to the Lord. However, enrollment is open to any committed leader of the local church.
The ETED program consists of 30 courses, plus practical experience credit. Upon completing this program the student will obtain the Diploma in Christian Ministry.
