Ruthie Cordova

Dra. Cordova is from Peru. She serves as professor at the Nazarene Seminary of the Americas. She teaches Bible, Theology, Pastoral and Christian Education courses for the different theological education programs.

Prior to her assignment, she was professor and public relation director at the Nazarene Theological Seminary in Guatemala, an Associate Pastor of Education at Chicago First Spanish Church of the Nazarene in Chicago, Illinois, USA., a Children’s Pastor at Rainbow Boulevard Church of the Nazarene in Kansas City, Kansas, an Editorial Assistant for the Spanish Sunday School Curriculum for Adults at Publications International Church of the Nazarene Headquarters, Kansas City, Missouri, USA. She has written several articles, conferences and booklets in different fields.

She received a BS degree in Public Relations from the Public Relations Institute in Peru, a Licenciatura (BS) degree in Theology from Nazarene Seminary of the Americas, Costa Rica, a Masters of Divinity, a Masters of Religious Education and a Doctor of Ministry from Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. She was ordained as an elder in the Church of the Nazarene on the Kansas City District in 1993.
