Franlym Pena Ortiz y Mara Eliud Castro Hernandez

Franlym-familyFranlym Pena, from Nicaragua, came to Costa Rica in 2010 with his wife Mara Eliud and their three children Eslymar, Joedlym and Jonam (twins), to work as the Coordinator of the School of Leadership in SENDAS.
He works as a professor as well as takes classes in the Master of Science in Religion program with emphasis in Intercultural Studies. 

He has a Diploma in Theology from the Nazarene Seminary of the Americas from the Educational Center in Rivas, Nicaragua and a Bachelor degree in Theology from SENDAS in Costa Rica. 

Franlym served as a Nazarene pastor in Popoyuapa, Nicaragua, growing a church of only a few members to a thriving church of more than 100 members (1999-2009).  He served as professor in both the diploma and bachelor levels of theology since 1993, served as the Coordinator of Project Philip in Rivas, Nicaragua (2008) as well as the Director of the diploma program in theology for the Nicaragua South District (2006-2007).
