SENDAS in Residence: Student Testimonies Available Online
June 2010

In February of 2010, the master’s students arrived on campus for 15 months of intense study.  They represent four countries: Mexico, Guatemala, Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.  They are studying in one of two programs: Family Counseling or Intercultural Studies.

In May, the students’ testimonies were posted on the SENDAS website on the Project SOS webpage. Each of them have amazing stories of how God has guided them to study and to prepare for ministry.

JennyNot only do the students study during their time at SENDAS, they also work on campus in various administrative offices. Their job descriptions vary from accountant to public relations specialist to editor and program assistant. They are making a great contribution to the Seminary.

The students are also working in church planting in a community called El Carmen, a community located southeast of the Seminary.  Each Saturday the students walk three kilometers to reach El Carmen’s central park to minister to the children and their parents.  They have started a children’s Bible club, have had gospel presentations for the mothers while teaching them sewing skills. In the near future, they hope to help the community by repairing and painting the playground equipment.

Each of these students has sacrificed to study at SENDAS and each has his or her individual needs.  As you read the testimonies, please pray for the students in residence at SENDAS, and if you would like to contribute financially to help a particular student complete their studies, send an email to info@sendas.wsand you will be linked with a student through Project SOS (Send One to Sendas).
